I know 60fps is nothing like 2000fps...but this really made me look forward to the HVX.

I know that the HVX has some fps abilities like the Varicam... but is it capable of THAT?! Like could it have done that exactly?

If the HVX can do that I may get one next year afterall. I know the slow-mo is supposed to be great on it, but I didn't think it was that great. Please clarify.

No, it can't get anywhere need that speed.
That's why I said I know 60fps is nothing like 2000fps.

The maximum framerate the HVX will be capable of shooting is 60fps, which will give you 2.5times slowmotion (for 24P).

2000fps is more like 83.3 times slow motion.

Unless you move the mouse down into the white to raise the bar, then push the Suite button. There are like 5 different versions of the thing.
