Hi

As many of you I bought the hvx200 and a monitor. I choose the Xenarc, with the scaler. Thanks to InventiveDave.

You can see pictures of the rig at: http://web.mac.com/dcramton1/iWeb/Si...r%20Setup.html

Parts list with links:
Xenarc YV700, $349 direct from Xenarc http://www.xenarc.com/product/700y.html
Audio Authority Model 1365 Scaler, $249 direct from AA https://www.audioauthority.com/indexh.php
Noga DG 1105, $105.60, NAB show special from Band Pro.
20 Pin MDR (DFP) Connector from Digikey, guts $6.70, 3M Part# 10120-3000PE, shell $7.20, 3m Part# 10320-52F0-008 http://www.digikey.com
VGA solder cup connector & cable from local electronics store

As you can see, there are a lot of cables out of the camera. So I plan to create my own wire but I need their schemes

So does some of you know thescheme for the component output 20 pin of the hvx... ? To link it to a vga connector...

Thx

Component video is a "three wire" color difference interface consisting of Y- Pb-Pr signals. VGA is a "five wire" three color with seperate sync interface consisting of R-G-B-H-V signals.

There is no wiring approach that will directly convert component to VGA, you would need a set of active stages to extract the RGB from the color difference signals and then a sync separator to get the H & V components.

Well I have the scaler to do so (?) I only need the link between the two...

The hvx have its d4 component out (D4 to rca I don't now if its yuv or rgb) and connected to another cable yuv or rvb to a dsub15pin which enter the converter (it's able to read any signal through the dsub, it's only a pin problme)

It's working this way. But there are too many cables...

I need to erase the rca connectors. D4 to RGB.

So i need the D4 schemes, somebody knows where i can find them ?
