2 desk lights only

Hi shot this with just 2 desk lights

One was used as hard light the other was just as soft by aim it to miss the subject and let the spill be the soft light source.

Well I think his face and hand are showing some modeling and the area between his nose and chin looks good. The shadow side of his face is pretty flat though and of course the background is blah. Also, really could use a hair light here (maybe some clever bounce).

Thats ok, if im had been so much into sports I wouldnt have been so much into camera. And Hockey is more fun.

But this was more a test to show how much you can do with the lightsources thats in place already witout bringing anything more in.
