2 camera shoot: dvx100b & canon xl1

i am doing an indoor 2 camera shoot tomorrow afternoon using my dvx100b and a borrowed canon xl1. i will have no face time with the canon until at the shoot. so here's my question, what settings should i use on my dvx? do i need to shoot 30i? i'm concerned with putting the footage from the 2 cameras on the same sequence in fcp.

Shoot 60i, bring a good monitor so you can match the two cameras as best as possible. Going to be quite tricky.

thanks for you advice noah! that's what i did. i'll let you know how it looks after i cut it together, but onsite that looked like the right way to go.
