2 batteries "suddenly" only charge up few minutes?

I have been using the the camera pluged in for a couple of month. When I put them in now they dont work proper. Even if i reegarge them the only last some minutes. I guess it must be something with the charger since its two batteries that gone mad. The charger seams to work proper giving me a green ligth to signal that its charging. Anybody had similar problems? I will borrow a friends charger to se If that works better.

Can you charge any other batteries with that charger properly? And yes, I've had the problem with my still camera. I think I decided it was the charger, but since the camera broke not long after I didn't pursue it all that much. If it's a sudden change it would be more likely to happen in the charger than anywhere else.
