2 1/2 Hours On A Dvd?

Hey BergVision, we PM'd a while ago about trying to connect, since I'm just across the river from you ... Funny, it's a small world. Anyway, thanks to Larry R for pointing me here.

Give me a direct call on my cell if you want to discuss further. I don't know if the house you're dealing with is local or not, but with me you'll avoid shipping, and for that size order I'll even drive it to your door. :)

I'd be REALLY curious to see the quality of the packaing that's put together for $2.30 a disc, at only 300. That's phenomenally low ... lower than discmakers.com, who's consistantly the LOWEST in the country, and who I've set my pricing to be more competetive with (not beat right out the gate, but certainly in the ballpark).

I'll PM you with my cell ... call me.

I've done several DVD+ or -r's at over 2 hours. You need to drop the data rate to around 4000kb/sec but it looks OK.

If you've ever tried to rip a pressed DVD for a long movie on 4.7GB single-layer discs, you've seen the quality and it ain't bad. I don't see any motion artifacts like with streaming video, but the disk size is your bottleneck so make the most out of it.
