2.0x telephoto?

Comes with a 72mm threads and is significantly cheapter than the 1.6x teleconverter from Century Optics. Is this too good to be true? ???

I too did the experiment and bought one... total junk, when I say junk I mean the image was so bad its unusable..

The only game in town for a teleconverter is Century Optics 2x, priced at around $800. I have one and love it. Anything else is like putting cheap plastic in front of your excellent Leica lens...don't do it.

No, really, the lens Jarred tested were much worse than plastic. they did not work! It was worse then with the lenscap on... he posted the results. They are simply laughable.

Minor correction to Disjecta, so people don't get the wrong impression: Century's teleconverter is 1.6x, not 2.0x. There are no valid 2.0x converters for the DVX.
