G'day guys! Love reading the site but this is my first time posting, so be gentle! 
I recently shot a wedding on a Sony Z1, but in standard format and am having trouble editing it in FCP.
I usually use a SONY PD170 & Crop it as i edit. But seeing as though the Z1 shoots in widescreen, there is no need to do this,.................
However -
I am having a few problems with the sound (only coming through one speaker) and i figued out that all i need to do is match the frame and re-insert the footage (incl audio) and this solves the problem.
But now i have come accross a new problem...................the footage, that IS shot in widescreen, is stretched out to fit the entire screen????? WTF?
Am i making any sense with this? God i hope so.
Put it this way.....................it was shot in widescreen, and when i add it into my timeline it's in widescreen..................but when i try and add it again it no longer is in widescreen?????????????????
