1st MV shot on a KOWA B&H w/ MKiii

Plenty to like about it. esp musically and Lana's performance .

Not sure about the extreme aspect crop.

Not sure about how the sports stuff fits.

Aerials..I kind of get ...'high"...

editing..really well done.

Images..a little flat to my eye.

Anyway.. good job. Keep it up.

Can you explain what motivated the decision for anamorphic? Was it just something you've always wanted to play around with or was there a specific reason you felt it fit the song?

Also, was the aerial footage something you shot or was it stock? I only ask because aerial footage is expensive, usually well outside the budget of a music video.

You got some nice stuff in there though. I personally dig the flat look, and it was edited very well.

Thanks for the reply @shooter.

The extreme aspect crop is part of the x2 stretch for the anamorphic...I didn't want to stretch as it will loose resolution so just left it normal. Yeh it takes a little time to get warmed up to ..hmm we'll see for future use of it.

Do you mean by the sports stuff? that it's random or there is a better idea ?

Thanks for the edit...What did you like and not like about it if any?

Flat? what do you mean...any tips to make it not flat for other options....

Cheers Shooter!

More of something I always wanted to shoot with and achieve true anamorphic rather than cropping.

Definitely stock mate....I would of have to sell my car if so. lol.

Thanks for the editing feedback. I'm working on it....hopefully the next ones are better.

The anamorpic aspect is cool ...but you did not use it as well as possible IMHO and it feels like I am looking thru a letterbox because of the way you presented it in a full frame.

You don t see the black in an anamorpic "display".

Sports stuff...what was the story here?

Edit of performance ...nicely done. to beats and feel.

Flat..anamorphic lenses are known for being flat and a bit soft. Thats there look but ... I do like a bit of "bite" ( contrast). Just my eye thing and it adds ..apparent sharpness.

Edit: Anamorphic Framing and composition..nothing centred..use the width
