1st Lighting Setup - 2 Light setup

I wanted to try the book light setup today, also this being my first lighting setup. Apart from having the keylight on the wrong side (got side tracked by the background), I think it came out ok considering the very tight area I worked in, and that the only gear I can rent in terms of lighting is a few light stands and 2 C-Stands, and that it was a tight area. I should've lowered the cotton sheet so that light would spill underneath my chin which again I only caught once I made this post. But, it does show some nice lighting is possible given the gear - although it does take more effort to setup and I can see how something like the Lowel Rifa light would've been awesome to have in this situation. We live and learn.

Book light (or intended to setup a book light)
Bought some white cotton comb (think that is what the lady called it) to use as a bounce.
Bought a two types of diffusion material, one more diffused than the other.
Bought a 48in 5-in-1 light bounce.

I had a 500w household flood light (I put a 300w halogen in it without realizing - thought I grabbed the 500w bulb)
After playing I also used a floor lamp with an 11w Warm White CFL bulb - the floor lamp was about 5ft tall.

I couldn't get the light I wanted with the book light setup since the area I worked in was so small, so I just bounced the light of the cotton sheet. I positioned the light bounce with the silver side to get some additional light as fill. I also tried to get some hair light with the floor lamp.

I learned quite a bit about potential lighting gear purchase - which is now definitely on the cards since I can't rent any.

Thought I'd share what can be done with very little. Cheapest way to get a grip on lighting....hahahahhaha, a grip on lighting.
