i was thinking about picking that up, but the hysonfilms.com mattebox was a much better solution, 50 bucks more, but its in the states, folds down to about 2 inches thick. Tilt in side and top flaps, big bottom flap included. check it out for sure. its a winner. Fully supported on the rails as well

does that indie snap even go on rails? At that price without adjustable flags? Hysonfilms.com is still cheaper

its not the Fly Focus. Its the follow focus that is included on the combo HD Matte Box / Follow Focus from HysonFilms.com, the only difference is i asked for mine to be rail mountable to work with the M2 instead of being mounted on the mattebox.

When mounted to the matte box it works with the stock lens, and doesnt need a rail system since the mattebox from Hyson mounts directly where the old lens hood goes.

I needed it to be on the rails though to meet my Nikons. So he hooked me up big time with my set up! Measured, did other stuff with other things, then came back with a perfect fitting FF. I think its his "VERSION 2" FF

are most filters 4mm?
I did a quick search at a disty and it seemed they were.
Most of the high end filters are. Joel said he uses Panavision filters...but i've been unable to get any info on those filters as the site is under construction. But Schneider/Tiffen etc are almost all 4mm thick. I don't think i'm gonna put a Lee Resin filter in front of my HVX, as we know the HVX picks up way too much detail for any potential imperfections a Resin filter may have.
