I bought a 126 LED light awhile back and have used it in an emergency when I didn't have any other light. It's perfect for small spots where you need a eye light, or need to simulate a computer screen, etc...but not powerful enough by itself to be a reliable key light.
I was checking online about maybe building some sort of light bar with a couple of these to make an inexpensive and highly portable key light.
Then I cam across their 160 and 183 LED lights. The 160 is still AA powered, but the 183 has AC and a portable battery pack that comes with it. For less than $120, you get the 183 LED light, gels, battery and wall adapter. I don't really trust the gels so I have my own CTB, diffusion and minus green that I use.
But for the same price as one Litepanel, you could get 3 or 4 of the 183 LED lights. Rig up a light bar and you could do a highly portable light kit.
