18% grey cards

hello.

i have an 18% grey card and it has quite a bit of instruction on te back of it but very little of it pertains to video.

can someone give a good explanation of its uses as it relates to video?

That's how telephone (and probably a lot of other things) was invented - two people, two places, about same time.

I'd say 'Great minds think alike', but that would be against the protocol of humility enforced on this site...

yeah i saw those links and i didn't really feel that they answered how to use it in setting up a scene.

that is specifically why i started another thread.
