170GB not Fit on New 1TB Drive

I've only just bought it...Copied 75% of 170GB's and all of a sudden it says .AVI 4.6GB file is too big for Destination Folder :embarasse
Edit: Seems I need to put it on NTFS I'll try that

I've also got a large drive that pleads no-more-room when trying to copy over a file that's nowhere near so large as the indicated available space. So I'd like to learn why that happens, too...

Reformat it NTFS...FAT won't let you save any files bigger then 4GB.

It's not good to have FAT32 having read about it not letting you go over 4GBs especially for Video if you wanted to watch an HD movie Now I need to find an HD Camera to Hire and film with
