Hey,
I have 800ft of 16mm Fuji film in my freezer for a rainy day. Ive decided to spool it down to regular daylight reels so I can use it with my K3.
I found a place in LA that does it quite affordable but thought I ask if anyone knows a place in Europe that does it?
/M

Ask your local lab, most might but there will be a charge.

Question is, how old is that stock? I think it has been a while since anyone has made 800ft loads

There is no local lab in Sweden :)
Of course there would be a charge, thats more than ok. I might ask in germany otherwise I will go for the US.

The stock is fresh, its 2 x 400ft :)

Andec in Gemany will do it. 20 euro/400ft plus Vat 19%.
That including reels and boxes.

Very excited since 100ft Fuji is relly becoming rare but there till is some 400ft in stores. Now I will save cash and get loads of 100ft Fuji :)

(I like Kodak as well but they still make it, so no rush.)

I did it always myself, for my Arri 16S. I just had my 400ft magazine, loaded the film in dark, and spooled it into the daylight reels. Everything done in my toilet and no problems :) Obviously 20€ from andec is not expensive, but if you can find a 400ft magazine to borrow, you can easily do it yourself.

BTW, isn't there a lab in Stockholm? That's the place I sent my films (trough a Helsinki based rental company) two years ago. Or has it gone down since?

Yeah I was thinking about doing it myself but since it needs to be spoled twice to get the emulation on the right side... €20 is worth it :)

Pretty sure the last lab closed 6-7 years ago but I would love to be proven wrong on that.
