16mm documentary look

I'm shooting a short that I want to have the look of Sherman's March and Always a Bridesmaid (Nina Davenport), I'm thinking they used 16mm film cameras. What settings on the DVX would best imitate such look.
thanks a bunch:cool:

I'll say that 30p in CineGamma looks very much like documentary S-16mm to my eye. Longer lens work with some wandering in the frame tends to compliment this even more. Not like breathing, just a camera that isn't always static.

I don't keep a record of my DVX settings anymore, but we tested 24 frame and 30 frame and went 30 because it rendered slo-motion in post much better.
