16gb card not working in hvx200

we are using a new 16gb card in the hvx200. the camera says insert a usable card. it does not let us format the card. pls. advise.

You need to do the firmware update to the camera:

... and update the firmware on everything else you use too (computer, p2 store, p2 drive, etc).
