16:9 Problems

Allright I need a bit of help... I shot some footage in 16:9 mode. I digitized it as a non-anamorphic image and it has the two bars on the tops and bottoms. I need to be able to intergrate it into an anamorphic timeline (footage shot with an actual 16:9 lens) is there any way to do this? When I try to get it in the 16:9 timeline, it totally distorts the image. I did not shoot in SQUEEZE mode however... Thank you for your help.

Kyle, as far as I can tell from what you wrote, you didn't flag your captured footage as anamorphic when you captured.

So, all you have to do is scroll the browser until you see anamorphic at the top. click in the box beside the footage and it'll make a check mark to indicate it's anamorphic.

Now drop that clip into a 16:9 timeline and you should be widescreen.(you have to put the clip in after it's checked, it won't recognize clips already in the timeline.
