Hello, im doing my first proyect whit a xl2, I recorded an 16:9 and 24fps. My footage looks streatch in my mac, what can i do? Algo, how do i have to exported it to use it in starndart 3:4 TV?

You need to click on *Anamorphic* option. You can set up your capture setting
already so that FCP captures it as 16:9. However, don't worry if you haven't done
so. You can still click under *Anamorphic* column in Browser window for each
clip that you captured.
About exporting. If you want to put your video onto a DVD, you should compress
it either in FCP or Compressor. Doesn't matter which software you use, but
MPEG2 is the codec you must use because it is the standard codec for DVD players
to be able to play. There will be a few options you must choose right to get the
best result. You can find information about setting these options under Compression
forum here, even FCP forum has it. Good luck for finding it.
