16:9 + Adapter?

I wanted to know if I could put on an adapter on my camera, with the 16:9 lense? is this possible?

Could you be a bit more specific? 16:9 lenses? would those be...?
and by adapter you mean optical (35mm image converter/DOF machine, etc) or a mechanical/optical mount to mount adapter?

In order to get 16:9 with a 35mm lense adapter attached to my camera, only way to get the 16:9 is to shoot in the squeeze mode, right?

No. You can mount this:

in front of your SLR lens and get the 16:9 on the whole frame (without cropping)
