13" MacBook Pro with External Display

I'm wondering if the new 13" MacBook Pro would be sufficient for use with After Effects and Final Cut Pro. I'd like to get something compact for when I'm on the go, but also something I can bring home, plug my external display into, and go to work on a video project. This is for semi-pro work and I'd be using an external hard drive for my footage.

Side Note: Do you think a 13" screen too small for reviewing work with a client?

Thank you!

Yes, it will drive FCP fine. After Effects will have rendering time when compared to a mac pro, but for a 13 inch laptop it will hold it's own just fine. The 13" is large enough to review work if presented full screen. The external monitor and drive are great.
