Yep, here it is... Twelve thousand posts...

I have been a member here at DVXuser since the spring of 2005.

I've seen the rise of great fellow film-makers like Jack Daniel Stanley, who came out of nowhere in Zombiefest, and Norm Sanders, who makes a short for the DVXfests no matter what.

I also remember the days of the good old RANDOM thread :) Fun times! Larry_R, KOVAROVA, JDS, and a bunch of others were in there all the time... Terry Lasater was also a regular....

I've also met some awesome people who I've had the awesome privilege to work with. Mark Johnson, Ted Arabian, Kevin Halverson, Kyle Stebbins, Larry Rutledge, Blaine Golden, Kholi Hicks (sort of) and more recently, Geoff Reisner.

Beyond that, I am so appreciative of the amazing wealth of knowledge here. Barry Green always accessible when I have questions regarding the purchase of an HVX, and the guys over at the Avid section with answers right away, like krestofre and DC!

And lastly, I want to thank Jarred for making this awesome site. I truly wouldn't be where I am today without it...

Here's to another twelve thousand posts, and continued success to everyone here on DVXuser! :beer:

12,000! Wow! That's a lot of posts Brandon... a lot of posts! I can't agree with you more though - I've learnt so much in the few months I've been roaming these boards. And it's thanks to solid DVXusers such as yourself.

Here's to 12,000 more mate!

How on earth do you manage to post 12,000 times yet you STILL churn out more work than I do?

Ya know, I actually was going to try and do a video this time, but decided to hold off until maybe an even greater Plateau.

The necklace is just something my sister gave me for my birthday a few years ago. I don't think it has any particular significance, other than my sister gave it to me :)

Luis - The trick to doing stuff is to simply, do it. I am one of those people who will start pulling hair out of my head if I'm not working on something... boredom kills me!

Thanks to everyone who's commented in the thread, and I do hope I contribute to this place, and "give back" so to speak.

Yeah, it was on the list of things to do after the site upgrade... it just happened to coincide with my 12K mark :)

It's all good... DVXuser isn't about how many posts you have, it's about the knowledge we can share with one another, and the work we do!
