Cut in PP CS3, exported to AE for the down sampling, export back to Premiere to sharpen before outputting to Encore DVD no menus.
Original footage is DVCPro HD, (1.5), and I'm trying to make a DV Widescreen(1.2). I've tried scaling the footage in AE and fiddling with the PARs in the workflow but no matter what I get pixelation, (like a bad vector image) on some parts of the video.
I did the down sampling in AE because it makes a huge difference on transitions and the overall look, except for these areas. I'll admit this isn't an issue if I don't try the down sampling in AE, but then I end up with interlacing artifacts in my transitions and graphics.
Any help?
