1080 24p footage appears to be interlaced in fcp, help

Hi everyone, I have imported all my clips using the log and transfer method, but all my clips are interlaced when i preview them in FCP, any solutions or tips? I think this is a noob problem so I have searched the forum for similar topic but didnt find any :S

did you shoot 24p or 24pa? 24p doesn't work properly with fcp, you are supposed to shoot 24pa i believe

What camera did you shoot with? What format? AVCHD?

MOST cameras shoot the 24p look in a 29.97 interlaced format. Very rare to find a camera that shoots real 24p Progressive.

A possibly bit more clear way to state that is to differentiate what happens in the "camera head" part and what happens in the "recorder" part of the camera. Most cameras that SHOOT 24p RECORD it to tape/disc/card/HDD in a 29.97 interlaced format.
