102 Minutes That Changed America

Has anyone seen this yet?

I watched this on CBC Newsworld the other night, an incredible documentary on the September 11th attacks. It's basically a 102 minutes of footage of the terrorist attacks that starts from when the first WTC tower was attacked to when the 2nd one collapses, It was put together from lots of different footage and mostly from a lot of people shooting on the street and TV footage. There's no commentary or any opinions voiced from a narrator, its just the cold hard reality of the day.

Man, even after 8 years, this thing is really really tough to watch. It was like a punch in the face. There were times it had me in tears, constantly up and down, so many powerful moments. From the early moments when nobody knows what's going on to when the realization that this wasn't an accident when the 2nd plane its and sheer terror that is felt is just crazy.

As a Canadian, I don't think I'll fully comprehend what it must be like for you guys (Americans) to go through something like this, let alone the people of New York. I'm sure this is still probably fresh in a lot of people's minds.

I'd really recommend checking this out, this is something that should be played in class rooms for years to come so people never forget how terrifying an event this was.

Not looking for political comments or anything.

If you've seen it, I love to hear your thoughts on it.

This is an equally great website about 9/11.

It has catalogued the footage by channel, broken into 40 min segments.

You want sincere terror...watch any of the videos of the second plane hitting, when people's reactions changed from curiousity about this strange plane crash into Tower 1, to absolute horror of knowing we were under attack. It's just strange.
