Here are some 100mm close up shots from a food shoot. They wanted it shot in SD so the colors are a little muted but that lens gets really damn close. Mike just got this lens and it kicks ass.

Aram, next time you do a shot like this, for kicks and giggles, try using just our flip or non-flip 72mm achromat on the front of your HVX all by itself. The shallow DOF will amaze you and the ability to zoom in nearly 100% from a range of 10 cm make for some crazy macro shots. The non-flip achromat will get you in tigher than the flipped version.

I have newer Nikon 105mm (Micro). The sh**t doesn't work Cuz' of VR.
I need to get Manual Micro 105mm f/2.8. Only Available through special order .... Damit.... and non-cancelable orders (LOL).
If not .... ---> Leaning towards ---- Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG
I'd like to hear from people who actually used either or both
