100% CPU render

Make sure that Vegas is using 100% CPU usage when rendering.

I turn my dynamic RAM preview to 40 MB from 750MB and now I am getting 100% CPU usage during render.

Before it was cycling between 5% and 90%.

Who would guess that less Dynamic RAM would improve performance.

It tells me I need more RAM in general.

yes significantly but preview is more choppy. I wish Vegas would optimize this section to dectect the best setting for each project and automaticaly set this.

you can't have no dynamic RAM but it dosen't seem to need much when rendering.

But I can change it to 750 while editing to get better preview and when rendering - change it back to 40?

yes you can change it back to 750MB after render. The point is that when rendering you should be seeing a steady straight line of 100% CPU usage under performance in the task manager (ctrl+ALT+DEL).

If you don't or there is an oscililation you are not getting the most out of you pc.
