10 Cloverfield Lane

Well at least they aren't doing that shaky handheld crap anymore. Cloverfield was one of the few movies that actually made me physically ill.

Am I wrong, or did they show the whole movie in the trailer?

I really hate it when they do that.

I think you might be wrong. That might just be the opening scenes. They probably get outside, where all the monster mayhem ensues. JJ usually likes to reveal as little as possible in his trailers.

I wonder if he just wanted to flex his skills by shooting in a less epic scale, after all of these huge films? (I have not seen the trailer yet, just going off these comments here).

Directors want to shoot in one room or one take, typically as a challenge to themselves. Will be interesting. I just rarely hear of a plot that happens in one room start with an idea and script and the directors realizes, "hey, this should happen in one room!" Usually it starts with the idea of shooting in one room and then making everything else fit. I like these kinds of film still. I will definitely watch this one too. (Unless this whole thing is a joke, and i just don't get it because i haven't watch the youtube link yet :P)
