It was one year ago that we went to the deserts outside Roswell, New Mexico to send Felix Baumgartner to the "edge of space", to skydive back to earth and break the sound barrier in the process. Looks like there's a new documentary, "Mission To The Edge Of Space: The Inside Story of Red Bull Stratos" airing, and from the trailer it looks like it'll maybe spill a couple of things that we weren't allowed to talk about. I know more than a few of you were interested in this project, so head on over to http://stratos.rdioexclusives.com/landing if you want to see it. I haven't seen it, don't know what's in it other than the trailer...

A company I work with, FlightLine Films, developed all the camera systems that covered the mission, inside and outside the capsule and the tracking trucks that provided coverage from the ground. My specific role was as the capsule engineer responsible for powering and maintaining all the capsule camera systems prior to launch (I was one of only four guys allowed in the capsule) and after launch I was on the capsule recovery team.
