so the point of this post is to give back a bit.
I just spent a week researching tripods and went with Vinten Vision 3.
I couldn't decide on 1-stage or 2-stage.
I called Vinten directly, who told me;
they sell about half of one, half the other,
and contrary to what some people say,
the 2-stage is just as stable as the 1-stage.
So I went with the 2-stage because it goes lower and higher.
