1 hour long video - youtube alternative

Can anyone recommend a vimeo/youtube alternative for long video files? I have several 45 minute and 120 minute events that I need to stream publicly in HD. Youtube doesn't tell us their max length.

Edit: I have settled on Vimeo Pro. File size limit is 5gb and length is unlimited. I will have no problem uploading full concert performances and sermons without issue.

I've seen hour+ long videos on Youtube so I know it can be done, it depends on your account. When I go to upload a video I get the message "Congratulations! Your account is now enabled for uploads longer than 15 minutes. Click the Upload button below to select a video."
But the longest video I have ever tired to upload is 18 minutes so I really don't know what the max length I am allowed is... From what I can tell I have no time limit, Only a 2 gig limit.

But If you don't already have a Youtube account with no limit this doesn't help you much :(

But I recommend you upload a few shorter videos on youtube to get your account going. Then hopefully they will remove the 15 minuet limit. Unfortunately I don't know what the criteria is or how long it takes. My 15 minute limit was removed a long time ago.

On my upload page I have the option to go to an advanced uploader (java needed) where there's no 2GB limit, it's at the right of the screen, with this icon next to it: icn_tools-vflarvvTk.gif.

I haven't had the 15 minute limit in AGES. I believe I was in the first wave that got the upgrade way back when. So thanks for the comments, but not relevant to me. HOWEVER, if you are able to upload a high definition (1080p, 24fps) avc/mp4/h264 file, that is an hour an a half in length, let me know! The file I recently attempted to upload was a portion of a festival I was hired to film (concert) which was roughly an hour and 15 minutes in length, and the file was about 3.5gb. Google rejected it based on LENGTH, not size. The limit beyond 15 minutes has NOT been clearly defined.

The problem is that even though I have a director account (one of the old ones even!) the limit for how long is too long, has not been clearly defined, and I am NOT about to go start troubleshooting to get some technical definition. There is a thread over on Google Help Forums that elaborates on this issue: link There are many people in the same situation. In that thread there is someone who had the EXACT same experience I did with youtube/google's vague limit guidelines.

You can upload over 2gb but it wont tell you how far above 2gb your files can be. (I've had 3gb files rejected for size.)
You can upload past 15 minutes, but I have attempted to upload a 1 hour file that was 1.89gb and it was rejected based on length. I have a director account and do NOT have a limit on length.

I am NOT a partner, and I know for a fact that long-form videos CAN be uploaded as I've seen it done, but usually by partners, or with standard def content. SMBC Theater, for example, recently uploaded their ENTIRE season 1 dvd, in a single file. Its massive, plays in HD, looks great. They are a partner and have a sizeable traffic footprint. I, however, am not!

After doing some research I settled on Vimeo Pro. There's standard Vimeo, Plus and Pro. PRO is for businesses and is PERFECT. Exactly what I need, with clearly defined rules.

Vimeo Pro is very cool. I've had a look at some websites people have created and the name Vimeo doesn't even appear if you don't want it to; its very customizable.
