1 hour DV on DVD

This may sound like a silly question, but I have a 1 hour video for a client that I will need to author on DVD. This is process is still a few days away for me, but is there anything I'll need to know in advance? Will this fit on a DVD? I usually work with smaller files...
Thanks,
Andrew

This is typically what happens with commercial DVDs that you buy. You should be able to put about 2 hours or a bit more on a standard DVD when compressed to play. If you are talking about just putting a 1 hr raw DV file onto a DVD (using the dvd like a big CD) then it won't fit. DV runs at just over 13GB per hour.
