1,025th post video

Wow, looks like I started a trend! J/K! Nice video Chris! Almost made me cry dude... let's roll those cameras man!! Congrats on 1,025 posts!! And, on a personal note, don't know if you saw my video thread, but thanks for all the help in Avid editing you've been!! Peace!

Yeah, I saw it (sorry I didn't reply, it's been a heck of a day for me). Thanks for the shout out. Always glad to help where I can.

Had me laughing in fits for the first 5 mins. Great vid.
Oh, and VERY nice production value too; nice lighting and good sound - was that a lav under clothing?

That was awesome. (I paused my Friday the 13th). Laughing the whole way through and relating to the stories.

Nice job ! And nice to 'Meet' you !

Chris,

Nice job! You are shorter than your Avatar. Keep it rolling.
What a DWE that boss was. BUT it got you to get your own gear so I guess there's an upside.

I **** you not, we said 'except rotoscoping' in perfect unison.

NICE.

Man, these things are great, I can't wait 'til my 6,000!

Awesome job, Krestofre!

fwiw, I'm not 'the guy who knows who you are but doesn't care what you have to say'. :cheesy: :)

Cheers:beer:on a job well done.

Woody "Hey, Mr. Peterson, Jack Frost nipping at your nose?"
Norm "Yep, now let's get Joe Beer nipping at my liver, huh?"

Wow! I'm glad you guys liked the video. I'm glad to have been able to do it.

For the technically minded of us: The lighting was a single Lowel Tota light and a reflector. Audio was captured with an Audio Technical Lav underneath the clothing (which was kind of an experiment, I thought there'd be a lot of russling sounds, but it came out quite nice).

My boss changing his mind was totally a blessing in disguise. My work uses an XL-1, and we all know where that would have taken me. :) I'm proud to say that now, me being a measly employee, I have more and better video production gear than a multi-million dollar company.

Chris

Nice job.
I have to say the biggest surprise for me was how much you look like Rutger Hauer.
I always thought that avatar was a grab from Blade Runner or something.

"I hope I can call you John, Mr. Hudson....don't beat me up"
Hhahahahahaha

I'm still laughing.

Yeah, it fools a lot of people. I've since dyed my hair, and put on some weight, but you can still tell.

Great Vid! I enjoyed it. A great mixture of serious and funny, you were well spoken and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Peace,
Larry
