“End video on final frame instead of black in Adobe Premiere Elements 9”

The problem I’m having is when I watch the video in Adobe Premiere Elements 9, the last frame – before I “share” the video – is black.

So the question I’d pose to the forum is:

Question: “How can I prevent my Adobe Premiere Elements 9 video from ending on a black/blank frame and instead ending on the last frame of a clip or ending on an image?” is it possible?

Thanks guys!

Tried that already..

Tried that already..

Freeze the last frame.

I've tried ending on a freeze frame, ending on a normal clip, and ending on a title. I've also tried just cropping out the black for each of these instances, but it still shows one black frame at the end of the video in Premiere for each of these things I've tried.

So it is black before or after you render it out? Because Premiere is going to preview all the way to the end of the timeline and obviously that's a black frame at the end.

You can either select to hold last frame, or export last frame as an image, then re-import it to the timeline for the last frame, and set it's duration.

Just put the logo or title on the timeline.
Make sure your work area bar covers the entire timeline.
After export your movie will still finish on black.
