I've never gone, but I was thinking about going this year. Is there anything I should know? My boss/other people i work with have gone but they are uhm "in a different age bracket" than myself...

I haven't registered yet, but I've been thinking about trying to go this year. It's in Las Vegas, right?

NAB 2005

There was a late decision by many DVXers last year to go to NAB - it was too 'last-minute' for me. However, this year could work out with travel plans made early.

I just have to skip class and get work off...

which is a bigger commitment than one might think.

Is there a date that you HAVE to register by?

I've already got an RV and our whole company are taking the trip up there. I missed last years NAB due to a freinds wedding. This time its for sure. I'm excited because the company plans on going HD. It's free guys, if you sign up now I think. It's in April.

I just registered for free, you need an alumni code or a code from a "trade publication" you can also find them on exhibitors web-sites.

Last year a few of us hooked up for a couple of beers, Jarred and his wifey, myself, Lil Red, and Bill Turner from Century.

This was before DVXuser was taking over the world...wwwhhhhaaaaaa.

But my dream date is to meet Barry Green...  :
and I think this is his neck of the woods.

Man to have John H and Jarred armwrestle in the same room...jeez
