By the same token just because someone thinks log footage which is never meant to be seen uncorrected, looks nice uncorrected, it doesn't mean they don't have bad taste. :)

I'm not getting into that. But you are all wrong and have terrible taste :)

Cool I have had great success using it along a £10 USB-HDMI adapter as a webcam.

Used the FX6 on its first livestream yesterday. All worked flawlessly with a progressive signal which I wasn't expecting. One thing I'd note is how hilariously out of whack all the colours were when we tested Cinetone. Blue became very much turquoise.

Happy to rename thread to the official 28-135 lens thread.

Nice. Looks like it can definitely do a job when I can't use my preferred lenses. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers chaps. Don't suppose anyone has any clips they could share? Does AF work well at 120fps? Never used it. Would like to test it.

    Cool that's a decent recommendation :)

I don't have any modern lenses at all. Need a single modern lens to cover when my preferred choice for most things is not appropriate. Don't care about OSS and could do with that extra stop that the 28-75 gives and figured it's a decent price compared to the Sigma 24-70. My other thought is to...

I'm thinking of getting the Tamron 28-75. Anyone used it on the FX6?

The Manfrotto one I bought in the OP should be fine.

I'm sure it would be fine but there was certainly some flex on the FS7 mount with heavier glass so would never risk it.

I don't have one but any lens over 1Kg I'd support with more than just the naked mount. I believe the Sony is 1.2Kg.

Well zero issues with them for me. 100% recommended.

Yep sorry those ones. Truth is I have never gotten to the end of one yet. I have 2. Readout is the same each time. Seems very accurate. I once got a low battery warning and the readout said 40mins left and I carried on shooting for 25mins and it was all fine. D-Tap plus USB on them plus D-Tap...

I'll post my current handheld setup next time I rig it up. I cant be bothered with V-mounts because the IDX-SU98s last so long but they'd really make a difference to the overall balance. Toying with the idea of a Tilta Nucleus system to have focus motor mapped onto a handgrip.

I just rewatched the Vocas video and I think I prefer that, but it is bloody pricey for a small piece of metal.

I don't know if it is a failing of one outsourced component or an inherent design flaw. There's no way it wouldn't have been picked up by anyone using it in the field as a beta tester though. It's genuinely not fit for purpose. Edit: I might send it in under warranty to see what they say.

Will have a look at that. Waiting on some clever smallrig solution.
