I have a Sony DCR-HC30 and when i go to put the image on the computer it will not capture image it says preview turned off is there something i need to get or do to get rid of this problem??

and will have many questions... i am just starting digital editing and this is maybe my 3rd video i did i would like some feedback and what i can do to make it more professional and maybe any effects. i want to see what people think...
