Hello, newbie type question here please. How do you get slow motion? Do you film at many frames per second and then play at normal speed or is it something you do in post-production?

Hi, I have seen a DVX100A on offer with 39 hours on drums and which is £400 cheaper than a brand new. Is this a good offer? For the sake of £400 am I better off buying a brand new or is 39 drum hours good? Thanks
