MIRRORLESS: Lumix GH6: what is base ISO?

Do you really need DR boost on ? Have you tried to see the difference with it on and off for the scenes you shoot ? If it is off then you can turn down the ISO all the way to 250 or 125 with extended ISO. To me Vlog is more important. My shoots in dark theatre do benefit from DR boost ON but then I do need the ISO at 2000. !!!

Depends also on your output format. If you are using rec709 you may not notice a big difference. Test with HLG if the difference is negligible to your eyes turn off DR boost and life will be simpler.

That was my point. To put things in perspective under sunlight DR from highlight to shadow is around 19 stops, humans can perceive 14, cameras make wild claims but realistically around 10 so whether you can squeeze out half to 1 extra stop of DR is relatively small. It's not to say there isn't a difference, but to what lengths is reasonable to achieve that gain? Filming real word tests instead of relying on numbers and specs is sometimes more useful. Does it pass the eye test?
