I haven't seen any updates on or discussion of the firmware hack that I have been looking forward to to unleash the true video power of my GH2. Weren't there funds raised for this at some point? Is it still being pursued?

I got the Videomic Pro and can't seem to get the +20db function to work without significantly too much volume getting into the GH2 even at the Volume Level 1 setting in the camera. The volume even for moderate voices is completely distorted, and well into the red in the GH2 display monitor. Is...
