Reluctantly posting because Mac Safari users have to go an extra step to view the video, since the website doesn't make a correct link for us. But we all meed a little calm distraction in these difficult times, so I'm posting one of the videos I recently created from a very hastily organized...

After a four year hiatus, managed to pull off a long delayed visit with family. Shot a lot of footage, obviously with a lot of kid but I did mange to find one part that is mostly child free. I've copied the Vimeo description here. The Newt in Somerset is a large estate sat amongst the gently...

769726691 From the Vimeo page: Somewhat muted fall colors this year (2022). The hope is it's merely a seasonal blip, as the changing is very much dependent on the prior month's weather. Regardless, nature still offers a lot of beauty. Panasonic GH5 mkII with SLR Magic Anamorphic 1.33x Compact...

When the GH5 mkii was announced there was such a pent up demand for the GH6, many dismissed the camera as not being worthy, a mere incremental update to a classic, and why in heavens name wasn’t the company concentrating on delivering an already delayed GH6. Based on my experience I think it is...

Not quite up to NorBro's Oscar worthy cinematography, but here's a camera comparison for those interested (description copied from Vimeo page) Six months ago I rented a Panasonic S5 and Sigma 44mm f/2.8, and in the absence of any exotic locations, filmed what is my preferred cycling route using...

Another video from this year's European trip. 347431685 https://vimeo.com/347431685 This is a chilled piece with music to match, best experienced with decent headphones. Enjoy

Nothing new here in terms of technology/equipment, just the trusty GH5 with the SLR 1.33x anamorphic adapter on the Panny 25mm. But having fun with music and sound design, and of course the beautiful subjects. 346252175 https://vimeo.com/346252175

A late-to-the-party look at Cinema 4K on the GH5 using an anamorphic adapter. Some issues with the large LCD displays in Penn Station, but aside from that love the 24p cadence along with the wider aspect ratio over UHD. All shots hand held https://vimeo.com/320632972
