Thought I'd share - this was shot partially with the adapter and partially without: www.iriscinema.com/the_letter.mov

    Daytime Footage

I've been considering using my A1 for filmmaking instead of the weddings I normally shoot, so I took it out for the weekend to see how it handled in various situations. Don't like the feel of the focus ring too much, but I'm sure I can get used to it (I'll sure miss the ability to rack as with...

    Pre-Record Mode?

Has anyone used the pre-record mode? When I try to turn it on in the menu, it shows up in blue and I can't activate it. Any idea what's causing this?

    Lux rating in SD

This might be a stupid question, but can anyone tell me if the lux rating of f8 at 2000 lux would be the same in both HD and SD? Or can the it be different in SD than what it is for HD? I hate to take a hit in sensitivity from my DVX. -Spencer

    Footage shows wrong framerate?

I have some footage (originally shot with 24P Advanced) that has been imported into Final Cut with the pulldown removal, but Final Cut still seems to be treating it as if the framerate were 29.97 (which is what it shows when I go to properties for that footage). When I look at the footage in...

    Wedding Video Sample

Thought I'd share this with the board as my first posting here. I just finished (well, almost finished) this up for a couple to show before their wedding, and I thought I'd post it. It's encoded in Flash without any player mechanism, so it requires a decent connection. I hope you enjoy! Feedback...
