Does the HMC-80 work with glidecam?

I read somewhere that the bigger HMC-80 is too big to work with a glidecam, unlike the 150 and 40. Is this true? Anyone try it? Thanks :)

Where do I buy lavaliere mics with long cables?

I'm trying to find XLR lavaliere mics with at least a 20 foot cable length. I can't seem to find any mics with cables much longer than 6 feet. Do most people just use XLR extension cables for the short cabled mics?
