I always use the CFast card for everything on my GH6 and power from PD powerbank. My projects are theatre so on tripod for over a 2 hour shoot though. The Panasonic battery is of course in the camera so would run for about an hour if I remove the powerbank.

Since most computers respond to power removal and reboot have you tried removing battery, start with dial at M, put in charged battery, check you can set parameters, then move dial to S&Q and set as in that video. I have GH5S and GH6 they work similar to G9 just different values.

Agree with Tom as I shoot Vlog on both my GH6 and GH5S use highlight metering mode too. This approach very often results in a slightly lower level but much easier to increase in post than manage clipping. In the theatre now I set WB at 3700 as I find this is a good compromise for the mixed lights.
