I have found this fairly inexpensive P2 reader for a desktop. It gives you a PCMCIA slot on the front of your tower. Has anyone had any experience with one? They are only a bit over $100. http://www.psism.com/pcd-tp-110cs.htm

I have been unsuccessful in renaming all of the associated video, icon, and audio files to attempt to change the name of an MXF clip, and then to have it be recognizable by P2 viewer or premiere. I even went into the XML file and changed the clip name in there as well. Is there a trick to this...
