    Do you need external recorder for af100 to be considered broadcast quality?

    I have an upcoming shoot where the material may be used in a broadcast television situation. I know that the BBC does not consider the AF100 to be up to their broadcast standards without an external recorder, but is this also a requirement for US stations? i.e. CBS, ABC, NBC?
