    HD monitoring from PowerBook

    As I understand it, the only way to currently monitor true HD when editing from a Powerbook is to hook up a 1200A and connect your monitor to that. Does anyone know if it will be possible to use the HVX for this purpose? Jan?

    Vinten Pro5

    Has anyone out there used the Vinten Pro5? According to the Vinten website, this unit is not available in the US, but there's a seller on eBay who carries it. I've liked the Vintens that I've used in the past, but those have all been high dollar models.

    Chrosziel or Cavision?

    I'm in the market for a matte box and am debating between Chrosziel and Cavision. I've owned Chrosziel in the past, but never actually had my hands on a Cavision. Anyone here have experience with them?
