yesterday I bought a cheapy deck to relieve pressure from my dvx during the import process. however, it only shows a timecode for the footy I've shot in 29.97 format and not the 23.98 format portions of what I've shot. Making it impossible to import any footy shot at 24. Any work-arounds? or...

When filming with the stock lens (no fish,adapter,etc.) for the transworld look is it better to rock the OIS or just let it ride? Again, this is tripodless as well.
