I dropped the hd footage on dv timeline and exported it(FCP), and I see whole bunch of line in the image why? I thought when I shot in HD and then drop it to dv it will still look better then just shooting in dv.

I just bought a mashall monitor and I have one problem, I can't get the focus assist to show on the monitor, I get all info etc but focus assist?

Every time try to export to web qiucktime or anything even a jpeg my image outside of FCP is squased its exporting the real pixel 1280 by 1080 how do I export an image in the right proportion. Thank you,
