What I want to do - if possible - is capture directly to FCP via Firewire on a Powerbook using "capture now" and not use tape at all in the DVX body. Obviously the camera won't be sending timecode since there would be no taperoll, but FCP will make it's own using the "non controllable device"...

Has anyone successfully used either an nNovia or Firestore drive with either the 100A or B?
